DESCRIPTION:
SEE SPECIAL SHIPPING NOTE at end of description. Righter O-45, air cooled two stroke, aircraft engine, flat twin configuration with contra rotating wooden propellers, propellers measure 26 inches in length and the hubs measure 3.5 inches, engine measures 20.5 inches from spark plug to spark plug x 11 inches from engine base to throttle assembly, approximate weight 28 pounds. These were most typically fitted to target drones to be used as target practice during WW2. The most prevalent of these was the Radioplane OQ-2. One of the factory workers at the time was a young Norma Jeane Mortenson "Marilyn Monroe," seen in one of our photos, modeling with a propeller and incomplete target drone.
